She is the first new year's baby for Moore County, NC so she will be making the local newspaper ... the reporter has already been in and taken her and the proud new parents picture...

Mother's Are "Earth Angels"

God’s Gift to You... ’Mom’ ... Remember Her on May 11

Have you ever thought what you would have done without your Mother? Then why is it Mom’s are usually the low woman on the totem pole? God thought enough of us to give us an earthly Guardian Angel and so many times, more than we could truthfully count this is the person we lash out at the most with the excuse it’s OK it’s only Mom. Thinking of the old cliché "we always hurt the one we the love the most" truly believing that all is forgiven... Mom’s tough she can handle it... Mom knows deep down that I really don’t mean it... well, Mom’s don’t know that.

I am following my guidance in the writing of this article because Mom’s need to be exalted...not trodden upon. Remember what I stated previously... God loves us enough that we are personally given an earthly Guardian Angel. Think about this for a moment... allow the monumental impact of that statement to sink in and all that encompasses. The one person that will always love you no matter what.

As we get older we don’t think we need Mom quite as much as we did before and sometimes we think we don’t need her input at all... What does she know? She’s behind the times. If the truth be known and we really take the time to look at it... Mom still knows pretty much more than we do. She is the crone that has gone before us ... experienced pretty much what we are going through now ourselves. Grant you times have changed and many Mom’s have not faced the extreme challenges that so many of the younger generation is facing now ... like drugs, the extreme peer pressure of joining a gang ...male or female, but all the same the challenges were pretty much the same when she was growing up only in another format ...drinking, smoking, sex, guarding your reputation and with a lot more condemnation than is going on in 2008.

What I am trying to get across here is... Mom has lots of knowledge and lots experience for you to tap into and to honor.

Mother’s day is coming up May 11th. and what will you do for your Mother ? Will you remember to pick up the telephone to make the long distance telephone call to Mom who is now 3,000 miles away or lives just around the block that you haven’t seen or talked to in several weeks? Will you remember to order, purchase or make a special gift for her ? To send her a Mother’s Day card that isn’t an e-mail ? ... to just let her know how special she is to you ... loved, honored and respected ...

Remember ...

God loves us enough that we are personally given an earthly Guardian Angel...

Child Development - Children and the Benefits of Angels

Angels in art and meditation are an alternative and spiritual healing therapy for child development.

As more and more alternative and spiritual healings are being studied and documented they are finding that all forms of upliftment heals the body, mind and spirit. Angelic art falls within this category by uplifting the spirit. I do not claim Angel paintings create physical healings. Whether it be in participation, gazing upon or listening ... Art heals. This has always been known in the Alternative and Holistic medicines, but now is being used more and more in the traditional medicines opening up a whole new train of thought causing many, many positive results benefiting all. Children respond to Angels. I have spent many an hour introducing children to their Guardian Angels through guided visualization meditations. These meditations are a great way for children to have fun and to feel safe as never before when they actually know their own Angel. The Angels are the keepers and protectors of our children and surround each and every child with their wings of love. They focus on the nuturing, love and guidance of each and every little soul ... which speaks to my heart and makes it smile and I get to be called "The Angel Lady" by all these wonderful children.

" How to Connect with Your Angels in a Sacred Space "

Creating Your Sacred Space:

My definition of Sacred Space: spiritually receptive, where you can sit & meditate or quietly just Be... to nourish your spirit & soul ...

By creating an Angel alter you are setting your intention to the sacredness of the area and its' purpose... connecting to God and His messengers ... the Angels

I am not suggesting this is worship of Angels - this is the intent of creating a sacred space where you are more receptive to God's Angels and the messages, guidance and Love they bring to you and where you create your own strong connection to your own spirituality through the acknowledgement of the Angelic presence in your life. To speak to your Angels from your heart.

1. Choose your space ... a dedicated space for this purpose

2. Choose objects to place on your Angel alter that have a spiritual meaning and speak to you through your heart. Candles, incense, Personalized Angel Painting (as shown in the image above) or Angel Print, figures, crystals, a beautiful cloth, plant, flowers, symbols of the heart, box ( I use mine for written messages & letters to my Angels). Remember ... keep it beautiful and clutter free of such things as car keys, etc ...

You can add a comfortable chair, rug .. a comfortable place for you to be when you are following the steps below in connecting with your Angels or just to sit quietly ... it is your space ... make it comfortable.

Once you have your alter completed, dedicate it as an Angel alter and invite your Angels into your space and ask them to fill the space with their Love & Light ... speak to them as you would a dear and beloved friend ... Welcome them with your Love. They are always with you, but now you are wanting to acknowledge them in your life and connect consciously with them.

To Connect With Your Angels:

1. Take time when you will not be disturbed. .. This is your time ... Where comfortable clothing.

2. Play your favorite Angel music

3. Light your candle ( white, purple or violet) making sure that it is in a safe container for burning.

4. Light incense or aromatherapy oils can be used in their special infuser. Frankincense, sandalwood, lavender or jasmine are good choices ... the preference is yours.

5. Take some deep cleansing breaths and allow your body to relax ... and as you relax focus your intent on connecting with your Angel. You can ask to be connected to your Guardian Angel or an Archangel if you would like ... Ask for them to join you ... and feel their presence.

6. When you feel their gentle presence begin speaking with them ... this can be done silently or out loud. I sometimes write everything out if it is something very detailed I would like to discuss in letter form and put this in my box on my alter and discuss the highlights in my verbal discussion letting them know the details are in my letter ... Remember, if you need their help ... Ask for it.

7. When you are finished ... Thank your Angels... If you would like you can ask for confirmation of your discussion by asking for a symbol ... it may not come immediately so be aware and open to their response in the next day or so. The symbol make come in unexpected ways ... a song on the radio ... a phrase stands out in a sign, a feather in an unlikely place ... a thought floats through your mind that you know is not yours ... just be open and receptive. Listening becomes an important exercise for you ... the answers come in the silence and in many forms ...

The more you work with the Angels the more comfortable, knowledgeable and receptive you will become in the forms of communication that works the best for your relationship ...

Everyone comes to the Earth with a life plan, a soul contract to fulfill. We do not remember what that is, but our Angel does.

One of the goals of our Angel is to try and keep us on the right track in achieving what it is we came to do. Sharing our natural talents is one. These are gifts from God for us to excel at. When we excel in something know this is to be shared with others in some way and will be beneficial to them as well. We might not always know how these benefits are utilized, but all the same they are. Our job is to deliver the goods so to speak.

When you truly work with having a knowing relationship with your Angel your Progress and growth excels. Your Angel is there to offer guidance and support and we must give them conscious permission to do this. They cannot help us to the best of their abilities without our inviting them into our lives and asking and giving them permission to do so.

We were given the gift of Free Will by God and the Angelic realm cannot go against our wishes. We have to put our intent and our free will permission out to the Angels letting them know that we truly want and ask for their help.

The stronger your connection becomes the more miracles you will witness in Your life your higher aspirations will suddenly begin to manifest in ways you could never have imagined or created for yourself without the help and assistance of the Angels.

Remember, God's gift to us is His Angels Use this help and loving guidance in every aspect of your life

Miracles will occur.

Begin by asking your Angels to help create your perfect career rather than to help you get a specific job. Often people put a lot of energy into one particular job, when in fact the Angels may have something even better in store for you. Although the job you want may be very good, they may see something that fits you better, can come to easier, and may be a place where you can be of more service.

Also ask your Guardian Angels to help you with guidance and clarity for your next place of career advancement. If it is truly in your best interest, and the interests of the people you work with/for, for you have that particular position, you will receive it.

Affirm your alignment to be in the place of highest service and greatest good, allow your Angels to help you and follow their guidance with patience and dedication.

The Purpose of a Relationship and Why an Angel Has Been Assigned

It is God's intent to manifest Love to it's fullest in relationships as this is the purest form of love. It does not matter if it is between family members, lovers, married individuals, mother and child or father and child, best friends or business partners. The sole existence of a relationship is to bring the highest good forth and as it does this it escalates to a higher form of love. It then proceeds to lap over onto every thing it comes in contact with or touches. Think about this ... does not all relationships reach out in some form or manner and touch those around it? What a grand and glorious thing this is. Think about the existing relationships in your own lives ... even a business relationship is formed to bring a product or service to the forefront for the betterment of mankind and the business partners themselves.

We must strive to recognize the importance of the relationships in our lives ... why do they exist?

What is the good that comes from these relationships and why at this time in our lives do they exist ? Are we to learn from them ? Are we to grow from them? What does our soul achieve in it's own growth by drawing relationships to it? The soul has enormous power to draw to itself those things and people that will help it achieve it's higher purpose.

I say to you ... examine, be grateful for and acknowledge the importance of all relationships in your life for there is a higher purpose behind each and everyone of them.

A good question to ask is "What is God's intent in this Relationship?" much like some ask "What would Jesus do?" ... think about this and the profoundness of the basic relationship will take on a whole new meaning for you.

There has been a world wide postive acceptance of the Angel of Comfort and the testimonials and reviews have added to their popularity. In these times this seems to bridge the gap where there never before has been offered something that really touches the hearts and minds of individuals on a level that reaches their soul and creates the comfort so needed for so many reasons. It does not matter what form of comfort is needed, these Angel paintings bring forth the energies the individual requires for the emotional healing to begin. This holds true if the Angel of Comfort Angel painting is ordered as a gift or the individual orders it for themselves.

Here is the story of the birth of "The Angel of Comfort" in Sharae's own words:

I am an Angel artist and several weeks ago while listening to the late night news, a news story came on that really touched my heart. On the way home in the wedding limo ... a drunk driver caused a horrible wreck, resulting in the loss of a child and the limo driver. This story stayed in my mind. A few days later, a woman emailed me requesting my help. She wanted to know if an Angel painting could be created for this family. I immediately knew who the family was. I heard a voice say ..."Yes, you can help ... Create an Angel of Comfort for her painting ... their energies are needed here." I emailed the woman and she immediately commissioned the painting

The painting took on a life of its' own. Upon delivery, the woman emailed back saying this was perfect and just what she had envisioned to help this family. I know my paintings help others all the time and had never thought of them helping in this way. The voice is still saying "There are more to help". I am researching grief and loss, thus "The Angel of Comfort" Gallery was created.

In my research, one of the definitions that I found really struck a chord with me. "Grief is the reaction to loss." Losses can range from loss of employment, divorce, pets, social status, a sense of safety, order, possessions, to the loss of the people nearest to us including friendships and relationships. Having experienced several of these losses myself, I would never have described the pain that I was going through as grieving unless it was the death of a loved one or pet. When I thought about what I had experienced during these times I had a light bulb moment ... I realized the pain felt no different. I was actually grieving. This put a new comprehension on what I had been told ... "There are more to help" ... and why "The Angel of Comfort" Angel paintings will help so many.

Grief is grief and loss is loss and our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual bodies respond the same with a deep and profound sense of loss. This has opened within me a new understanding of the work I have been given and why this new additional door has been opened on the path of my spiritual journey.

The bible verse in Matthew 5:4: "Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted", keeps running through my mind. It is through the mourning that healing takes place. This is the way releasing deep pain was intended by God, with the promise that comfort will be and is provided. God sends His Angels for all things, for we are dearly loved and cared for and never alone.

A whole new understanding of grief and loss.

Housewarming Gift - What is Appropriate ?

A friend of yours has just made the transition from renter to homeowner. So what to give as a housewarming gift? Friends that you are close with are the easiest. You want it to be personal, memorable as purchasing the home was.You can wait for the housewarming party or you can take the initiative and start planning you gift right away. A realtor friend of mine and I came up with a great unique gift idea that she gives to all her clients when they purchase a home from her realty company, a "Guardian Angel for the Home" Angel painting. She includes a card that states "This Angel is created especially for Your Home ... I ask that it protect you and bring you joy, health, and happiness". I liked the idea so much since I am an Angel collector and Angel artist and Angels are for everyone, I have started giving these as a housewarming, hostess or thank you gift. You can always do something different, but try and keep the person in mind. Are they a "do it yourselfer"? Home Depot or Lowe's would be a great place to find a gift or even a gift certificate and is an excellent gift because such centers also sell gardening must haves, grills, small home appliances and tools that every homeowner needs. Are they a movie buff? Gift certificates for movie rentals or the purchase of their favorite DVD. Music lovers you can do the same thing by adjusting it to music or if in the big city ... tickets to a musical? With that new mortgage they may hesitate to purchase frivolous things for themselves. Put on your thinking cap! Many unique gift ideas can be inexpensive. A photo album for the new pictures of their new home. A basket full of spring bulbs to plant and include the gloves and instructions on how to plant them. Luxury bath items for that long soak in the new whirlpool bathtub in the master suite. Fireplace tools or a chord of wood are a good item if they have never had a fireplace before. Dinner at their favorite restaurant. How about a subscription to their favorite magazine or newspaper delivered to their new address? The point is, you want something that is going to be enjoyed. A gift that is taken out of the box and not a dust collector. A Sports Angel ?

Are they in the dugout ? The outfield ? Standing on second base or perhaps holding up the goal post for that crucial final touchdown. Perhaps they are running down the soccer field or standing beside the Little Leaguer whispering encouraging thoughts about swinging that huge bat and making a homer. I know the Nascar drivers believe there is an Angel sitting in the passenger seat with them as they go around and around a track surpassing 200 miles an hour. You have to believe that the Angels are with the snow skiers when you think of all the beautiful snow Angels we make lying in the mounds and drifts. Watch an ice skater and you truly know they are dancing with the Angels out on the ice ... poetry in motion and if you listen carefully on a silent day with all the glistening snow you can hear the music of the Angels the skaters are dancing to. On a clear day the balloonists and the hand gliders are out across the skys helping to paint the skys and the clouds with the glorious colors as Angel assistants. The diver launching itself into the air reminds us of an Angel with arms spread forth before they slip beneath the water. Think of the skydiver that risks all by jumping out of a plane to soar through the heavens trusting the wings of Angels will carry him safely back to earth. Stand in the sidelines and watch that gust of wind catch and carry a golf ball another hundred yards ... At Christmas time you see a Sports Angel ornament for every sport for boys and girls, the sports fan of all ages ... I truly believe there is a certain part of an avid sports enthusiast, sports fan or sports collector that doesn't doubt for a moment the Angels are always looking over their favorite team, sport or player. Angelic art falls within this category by uplifting the spirit. I do not claim Angel paintings create physical healings. Angel paintings soothe the emotions and create a more peaceful atmosphere helping today's society deal with the stressful world we now find ourselves in on a day to day basis. Angel paintings are unique. They are a form of healing art. Angelic art uplifts, motivates, comforts, soothes and inspires. Each painting holds it's own inspirational energy and you do not have to be a " Believer" for this to work. These paintings work on a deep emotional level, clearing, releasing and comforting the emotions and melting the stress of the day away. Inspiring within each individual that gazes upon them their own God like image and this is how the healing takes place. A place of beauty and perfection is remembered by the Soul." Divine energy is at work assisting alternative and spiritual healing through Angel therapy in the form of fine art. Whether it be in participation, gazing upon or listening ... Art heals. This has always been known in the Alternative and Holistic medicines, but now is being used more and more in the traditional medicines opening up a whole new train of thought causing many, many positive results benefiting all.
